Curatorial Abstract

5000K museum light, soft side wash, and how to avoid hot spots on glossy clearcoat.

Neutral 5000K LED strips along the top rear of a cabinet reveal cheatlines without yellow cast. Avoid bare bulbs aimed at the fuselage.

A soft side wash shows wing dihedral and engine nacelles. Keep intensity low so white fuselage paint does not bloom in photographs.

Dust the glass monthly. Fingerprints on clearcoat read as defects in photos even when the model is perfect.
