Curatorial Abstract

How collectors pick archival scale for desk displays, boardroom plinths, and crowded shelves.

Scale is the first decision in any Haidees Aviation acquisition. A 1:200 piece carries substantial zamak weight and reads clearly across a room. A 1:400 miniature packs more of the fleet onto a single shelf without losing tampo fidelity.

Captains often prefer 1:200 flagships for retirement and type-rating gifts. Spotters and airline executives frequently choose 1:400 when building a full route map of liveries. Both scales leave our Islamabad atelier with the same optical inspection under 5000K light.

If you are unsure, start with the airframe you know by heart, then match the scale to the space where it will live.
